2012 Membership Types/Rates
We have several types of membership:
Individual,
Partnership,
Online,
Corporate
and Social
Not sure under which membership type you fit - basically it depends on your
work
status
and how you plan to use Company of Women.
- If you have a business or work for a business - then it's individual
- If you want the membership to cover two people - then it's partnership
- If you are unable to attend events or live out of province - then it's online
- If you want the membership to cover four people - then it's corporate
- If you don't work and are in transition - then it's social
Here is a breakdown of what you receive with each type of membership.
Individual
An individual membership is for someone who has a business to promote - their
own, or they work for someone else.
Includes:
- One-year profile in the online directory
- Reduced rates on all Company of Women events and services
- Access to online resources and teleclasses
- Special third party members-only discounts (eg. STAPLES Advantage)
- Access to our mastermind groups
- Reduced rates on advertising in Company magazine, website, or e-zine Connections
- A free subscription to Company magazine - with choice of receiving your copy
in print or electronic format
- Access to monthly sales coaching teleclass for free
Cost: Initial cost to join is $250 + HST, and the renewal fee is $195 + HST/per year
(Join between Jan-March 2012 for initial cost of $195 + HST)
Please note that if for any reason you choose to cancel your membership
before it has expired, there will be a admin fee of
($60) to process the cancellation.
Fees for Individual membership can be paid in 12 monthly installments. Each payment would be for $18 + HST.
(Join between Jan-March 2012 for $18 + HST)
Please note that if for any reason you choose to cancel your membership
before the end of the 12 months, there will be a three-month charge
($75) to cancel.
Partnership
A partnership membership is for 2 people that are in the same company.
Includes:
- One-year profile in the online directory for both people
- Reduced rates on all Company of Women events and services
- Access to online resources and teleclasses
- Special third party members-only discounts (eg. STAPLES Advantage)
- Access to our mastermind groups
- Reduced rates on advertising in Company magazine, website, or e-zine Connections
- A free subscription to Company magazine for both people - with choice of receiving
your copy in print or electronic format
Cost: Initial cost to join is $325 + HST and the renewal fee is $285 + HST/per year
Please note that if for any reason you choose to cancel your membership
before it has expired, there will be a admin fee of
($60) to process the cancellation.
Social
A social membership is for someone who is retired,
unemployed or in transition with no business or company to promote but would still
like to be part of Company of Women
Includes:
- Reduced rates on all Company of Women events (except booths at trade shows)
- Access to online resources
- Special third party members-only discounts (eg. STAPLES Advantage)
- A free subscription to Company magazine - with choice of receiving your copy in print or electronic format
Cost: Initial cost to join is $110 + HST, and the renewal fee is $95 + HST/per year
Please note that if for any reason you choose to cancel your membership
before it has expired, there will be a admin fee of
($60) to process the cancellation.
Online (Virtual)
An Online membership is for someone who wants a
profile on our website and to be part of Company of Women, but is unlikely
to attend events. (Note, if you attend any events or wish
to advertise, the members' rate would not apply, and in trade shows, you would
have non-members status)
Includes:
- One-year profile in the online directory
- Access to online resources and teleclasses
- Special third party members-only discounts (eg. STAPLES Advantage)
- A free subscription to Company magazine - electronic format only
Cost: Initial cost to join is $95 + HST and the renewal fee is $75 + HST/per year

before it has expired, there will be a admin fee of
($60) to process the cancellation.
