Taking a Holiday to Recover from the Holiday

Summer holidays may be over - but many people have had to take another holiday to recover from their holiday because they got sick or had an accident on their time off according to a study carried out in Britain.

The survey found that 8 per cent of 107,049 registered with the The Benenden Healthcare Society, took time off work during the month after their summer vacation. It happens in Canada as well, but not to the same extent. "People tend to let their guard down and overexert themselves physically and spend more time in activities like skiing that can cause injuries, says Karen Seward, vice president at Warren Shepell in Toronto.
