Satinder Sahota has a long history of community involvement which includes coaching girls and Special Olympics softball teams, coaching boys and girls soccer, microfinance initiatives, working with special needs organizations, promoting civic engagement in the political process, and providing opportunities for girls and women to become engaged in community life through sports and other activities.

Her company sponsors 2 soccer teams in the Thorncliffe Soccer League.

The primary charitable organization supported is the Support Organization for Trisomy 18, 13, and Related Disorders.

Satinder has 15 years of experience in the IT field, having been the Manager of Technical Services with Public Works and Government Services Canada and Project Manager with IBM in their e-Business Services & Solutions Division.
