Purpose
Through
innovative and cutting edge education programs based in the
WEL-Systems® Body of Knowledge, AWOE is the catalyst for a paradigm
shift in creating sustained respectful workplaces, free of harassment,
discrimination, bullying and violence.
Mission Statement
AWOE
provides educational programs for creating sustained respectful
workplaces. We believe going to work should be a consistently welcoming
experience. As such our programs are the platform for enhancing the
quality of workplace interactions.
AWOE shifts the focus from
the disrespectful behavior to that which drives the disrespectful
behavior as a means of exploration and elimination of it. As a result,
participants recognize from where potentially undesireable behavior
originates, creating the opportunity to, where required, mindfully
choose differently in their workpace interactions.
Personal Profile
Hi, I'm Kae Roberts, a former police Sergeant with the Ottawa Police
Service and Founder of Awakening Wave, Organizational Evolution. I am a
Catalyst, CODE Model Coach™, Quantum TLC™ Facilitator, and NLP Master
Practitioner and Facilitator, certified through the WEL-Systems®
Institute. I am also a co-author of Sekhmet Rising, The Restlessness of
Women's Genius. I write a quarterly column about workplace wellness in
the Canadian magazine publication, Security Matters.
My company
is based on the notion that when we notice individually that we are
much more than we've been taught to believe we are, and we trust that,
collectively we create a workplace that is a welcoming and healthy one
for current and prospective employees.
As per Cellular
Biologist, Dr. Bruce Lipton, our biological imperative is growth. In my
view, it is a way of living that is to be embraced and celebrated,
whether at home or in the workplace.
