Emily is a dedicated, professional, freelance writer and editor. She is passionate about her work and committed to producing clear, accurate documentation that meets all her clients’ needs.

Emily holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law from the University of Cambridge, England. Having spent her days debating the meaning of legal rulings and statutes, she gained a healthy respect for clarity in the written word! Since moving into the field of communication, she has continuously upgraded her writing and editing skills through college and professional certification courses.

Emily has worked in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the USA. She has written and edited documentation for a wide range of industries, from alternative healthcare to transportation engineering. She has produced an array of documents for technical and non-technical audiences, including magazine articles, research papers, reports, proposals, resumés, and brochures.

In 2010, she became a Certified Structural and Stylistic Editor under exams administrated by the Editors’ Association of Canada (EAC). At present, this designation is held by less than 50 editors across Canada.
