Day by Day - Tales of business, life and everything in between

by: Anne Day

When you meet Anne Day in the first chapter, you build a quick and instant rapport with her.  She exposes herself as a warm woman of strength and vulnerability and we are drawn into the honesty of her story.

Day by Day is an appropriate title as it is an account of the author’s experiences, much like a journal.  There is no chronological order, rather each section addresses a commonality of challenges encountered by women in their everyday lives, addressing a wide scope of topics that consistently bring us back to how we can live our dreams and have balance.

Through the recounts of her days as a woman who has built her own business, through the joys and trials and tribulations of a life lived fully around the world, to the love and loss of friends and colleagues she has treasured, Anne helps us to understand how we can and should live the life every woman deserves.

Each chapter is rich with touching stories that illustrate the particular objective with clarity and precision.  She takes you on the journey of her life and shares all the insights she has gathered along the way. And not long after you begin the trip you find that she seems to know exactly every one of the hopes and fears and obstacles you constantly live through as an entrepreneur, a woman, a mother, a friend.

How can that be? It seems like this is a two way mirror where she can see into your heart!  A trust between you and the author is established steadily as you realize through her words that these are the experiences of most women and we are not alone. If we drink the tonic of each chapter and believe as she believes, then we will have the tools we need to pursue our passion and succeed with triumph.

As I poured through every chapter of this thoroughly enlightening close up into Anne’s life, I found myself laughing, crying and most of all smiling and nodding in agreement.  This is the entrepreneurs’ guide to the galaxy….bible, manual, reference and inspiration.  And it will prove to be an invaluable tool as I pursue my passion and start a business of my own. Day by Day will travel with me year by year.
