Karen Hatcher
As a young mother of 28, with two children, Karen saw herself as Employee 084. She was the one of only five women in a factory of 160 employees.

LETTING GO
After 23 years in our current home, we are moving. Now I am a bit of a pack rat. I have kept a copy of every report I have
ever written since 1981, along with files on every board or committee I ever
served on… all of which goes to say, we were knee-deep in paper. And then there’s my collection of books – on
every subject known to man.
My daughter ordered a dumpster for me. Subtle eh.
Suggesting that perhaps given the move is looming up, I might like to
start sorting through my collection of files, reports and memorabilia.

Are You A Commodity?
by Tessa Stowe
Do you find yourself competing on price? Do you often talk to a
prospect, think you have made the sale and then they decide to
shop
around and buy based on price? If this sounds familiar, then potential
clients probably perceive you as a commodity. They think the service
you're offering is much the same
as the service offered by LOTS of other people.
So it makes sense for
them to shop around and buy the cheapest.
Wouldn't you?
The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom
Don Miguel Ruiz
Rooted in traditional Toltec beliefs, these four agreements are essential steps on the path to personal freedom: Be impeccable with your word; Say only what you mean; The word is the most powerful tool humans have; Don't take anything personally; Self-importance leads people to think they are the center of the universe, causing pain and injustice; Don't make assumptions. To avoid frustration and blame, ask what is meant; Always do your best. This is the surest way to avoid self- condemnation, though it is important to realize one's best is always changing
